Himalyan Knotweed Persicaria wallichii

Another problematic species in the residential & commercial sector Himalayan Knotweed has thinner, pointy leaves. Reaching up to 2m in height this species was also introduced as a ornamental plant in the Victorian era. Himalayan Knotweed can be mainly found on water courses, woodland edges, Railway banking’s and waste ground. Although this species is not widely reported at this current time we believe this will be a major issue in the forthcoming years.
